2025 was no walk in the park. The economy faltered budgets shrank and the PR industry felt the serious headwinds. We still nailed it on multiple fronts and honestly had a bit of luck too. It all comes down to our lucky number seven. This number runs through our entire year with seven new heavy hitters seven highlight events and seven major pitch wins. Here are our top moments from 2025.
Seven new colleagues joined us in 2025. Rising stars experienced pros and people with exactly the right edge—festival expertise streaming know how and fresh perspectives on what we do. Some left other great agencies to join our crew while others came straight from university. Every single one of them levels us up.And 2026 is starting with the exact same momentum. Two more colleagues have already landed.
From the Berlinale to the Baltic Sea from the red carpet to boat trips 2025 had serious high points. In January the premiere of Back in Action for Netflix. In February the CumEx Berlinale premiere for ZDF. In July a Pride boat trip with Tinder. In August we headed to Sassnitz for the SailGP race where the German team made history. Shortly after that the launch event for Toniebox 2. September brought the Audible Audio Salon and October the Oura Ring 4 Ceramic Collection. There were plenty more killer events but we limited ourselves to seven.
Some moments do not fit into the numbers game. For example the most charming rejection of the year: "You are too professional for us." This is the agency version of "It is not you it is me." We take that as a serious compliment. Then there were the culinary team events that ensured a killer vibe and some very creative naming. The cheese aperitivo in February inspired some fresh names for our office mice. The Italian Summer Night in the backyard turned the agency into a proper Italian piazza. And a new printer? It was about damn time. The name? Prints Charming. Total fit.In December we did our Corporate Volunteering Day. If we did not get our own Christmas party at least we worked with a clear conscience. During the Advent season we had tree decorating disco advent calendars and a total sweets overkill.
Twelve pitches. Six wins. Every second one was a 'yes'. Our new clients in 2025 range from Tech to Anime.Oura, Audible, Back Market, Travelzoo, Oatly, and Crunchyroll. Our new clients suit us perfectly and we suit them. And because we believed in the seven we locked down a "yes" from Reddit in early January. The seventh pitch in the bag. Talk about perfect timing. The range of these new clients shows exactly where we stand. We are not a niche agency. We are versatile and we crush it in every single niche.
Michael Hetzinger Managing Director at Schröder+Schömbs PR "Seven pitch wins out of twelve attempts is something we can be damn proud of. But more importantly they are the right clients. Projects where the chemistry is perfect and we can really move the needle. That is what matters."
Why do clients pick us? Because we deliver. Because we think three steps ahead. Because we have a team that sticks together even when things get tight. It is the mix that makes it—experience and fresh momentum. Professionalism and a very human touch. Strategic thinking and practical execution. We are all pulling in the same direction and having a blast doing it. The clients feel that and we feel it ourselves. This is not luck or coincidence but the result of consistent hard work day in day out.
New colleagues new clients and new challenges. We are so ready. Thank you to everyone who made this year what it was: absolutely legendary.Want more insights into our PR game? Hit us up at newbiz@schroederschoembs.com or visit our PR blog for more industry insights.
