Easy as Pie: How we brought Thanksgiving food into German feeds

US food products face a battle against stereotypes in Germany. The USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) aims to bring the quality and versatility of almonds, pecans, sweet potatoes and other products to life. The challenge: agricultural products on their own often seem unspectacular. We showcase them in such a way that top influencers proudly feature them in their feeds.

Our Approach:

We’re bringing the American tradition to Berlin-Dahlem. At the Agrarrat’s residence, we’re inviting eleven creators—including Berlinfoodstories, HerzundBlut, and Katharina Raue—to an authentic Thanksgiving dinner. American chef Chris Haskins from Humble Pie Berlin will serve a menu featuring ingredients such as wild Alaskan salmon, American pecans, and New York wine. This is how we create product experiences that build brand equity while generating high-quality content.‍
